Anthony Merlino is a 24 year member of Local Union 98. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, and continues to reside here with his wife and two children. 

Some of Merlino’s experiences include being not only an experienced Journeyman, but served as a Steward, Sub- Foreman and Foreman. He has always attended Union meetings, been involved with great conversations about our local union, built incredible friendships, attended many political events and Fundraisers in support of Local 98. 

He is running for the Examining Board where he can use his experiences, knowledge and relationships to assess opportunities for the future growth of Local 98. 

Aside from working in our industry, Anthony has developed skills in Project Management, Financing & Budgeting for Construction Projects, and has earned a Business Management Certificate from the Community College of Philadelphia.
